Woodentots Camden nursery school receives an accreditation from the MSA

Established in 1989 and situated in Camden within a family home with a large natural garden. Woodentots nurturing environment offers lots of individual attention.

Woodentots is registered for 20 children. There are two classrooms known as the Home Classroom and the Garden Classroom. There are 12 children in our Home Classroom, this is for children attending on a sessional basis ages 2.5 - 5 years.

Our Garden Classroom offers 8 full-time places for children from the age of 3, many children stay on to complete their reception year with us in this classroom.

All Woodentots teachers hold Montessori Diplomas.

Our garden is an extension of the classroom; the children work outside in all weathers and often stay outside for the duration of the day.

Our ‘outdoor’ classroom brings all aspects of learning from mud pies to counting apples.

Natural materials inspire Woodentots children’s creativity. We believe in providing good quality art materials, for example using fine brushes, watercolours and woven paper. Our kind donation of a kiln enables the children to work 3 dimensional with clay.

Our aim is to bring out the personality of each child and meet individual needs through the Montessori philosophy.
